GENERAL (APPLIES TO ALL SKY SUPERFAST BUSINESS FIBRE & VOICE SERVICES):
Broadband Speeds: Available in Sky Fibre areas only. The actual download speed you receive can be influenced by a number of factors so please call us for a speed estimate.
Switching: If you are switching from a provider on the Openreach network Sky will manage the transfer for you so you don’t have to contact your provider but if your existing services are provided by Virgin (or another provider not on the Openreach network), you will need to cancel your existing service once you have placed your order with Sky and notify your current provider of the date that your new service will be activated. Sky will not be liable if your existing provider fails to cancel your existing service.
Unlimited UK Calls: Call plan includes calls of up to an hour to 01, 02, 03, UK mobiles and Isle of Man numbers (but excludes Channel Islands, indirect access, dial-up internet & 070 numbers). Fees and Charges: Subscription Payments may increase after Minimum Term. Excludes usage related charges which shall be billed in arrears. Additional set-up charges may apply if a standard installation of Sky Equipment is not possible. All fees and charges are exclusive of VAT at 20%.
Term: Subject to a minimum 12-month contract on Sky’s standard terms and conditions and Sky’s Acceptable Use Policy.
SLA: If you experience a fault with your service please call us. The Customer Service Team is available Monday to Friday (excluding Bank and Public Holidays) between 9am and 5pm. For faults in relation to your broadband line we will aim to resolve this by 23.59 the end of the next Working Day. For any other faults relating to your service we will try to resolve these as soon as possible.
Number Porting: If we fail to port your telephone number to this service within one business day after the date we informed you the transfer will take place, in addition to any other rights you may have, you may claim compensation for the delay by contacting our Customer Service Team. For each day that the transfer of your number is delayed, Sky will use the Service Fee to calculate a daily charge for the service and credit such amount against your next monthly bill.
Restrictions: Calls are made using VOIP technology via your broadband. In the event of a power failure or broadband outage it will not be possible to make voice calls to the emergency services (even if your package includes Sky’s 4G Backup Service) via this service so you should inform your employees that they will need to use their mobile phones (or other suitable alternative). You are responsible for ensuring that any security alarms or other critical business services are compatible with this service and will continue to work if there is a power or broadband outage.

Restrictions: Services or devices using Sky’s Static IP service will not connect to the internet if the broadband line fails, even if your package includes Sky’s 4G Backup Service. Ownership of the fixed IP address belongs to Sky.
